These Terms govern your use of the T2CAD website and any drafting services provided by T2CAD. By submitting a request, using the client portal, or engaging T2CAD for work, you agree to the terms below.
1) Services and Scope
Drafting services only. T2CAD produces 2D drawings and drafting deliverables (e.g., shop-drawing drafting support, floor plans, and PDF-to-CAD conversion). Deliverables are drafting outputs, not engineered designs.
Scope is defined by the quote. The written quote, portal scope summary, and related communications define what will be delivered. Work outside scope may require an updated quote.
No guarantee of approvals. AHJs, owners, and project stakeholders may require revisions or alternate approaches. T2CAD does not guarantee permit/submittal approval.
2) Not an Engineering Service
Not the Engineer of Record. T2CAD is a drafting service and does not act as the Engineer of Record for your project.
Engineer involvement (optional). If your project requires an Engineer of Record or a professional seal/stamp, you are responsible for ensuring that requirement is satisfied. In some cases, T2CAD can coordinate with a third-party licensed engineer from our network for an additional fee, when available and appropriate. Any such engineering engagement is separate from drafting services and will be confirmed in writing.
Responsibility and liability. You (and/or your design professionals/contractor) remain responsible for design intent, approvals, and field verification. T2CAD’s role is to draft the information provided and present it clearly.
3) Client Responsibilities
Provide accurate inputs. You are responsible for providing complete and accurate backgrounds, sketches/markups, specifications, and project requirements. Delays or rework caused by missing/incorrect inputs may affect schedule and cost.
Review deliverables. You must review deliverables for accuracy and suitability before use. Final approval and use decisions rest with you and your project team.
Field conditions. Unless explicitly stated in writing, T2CAD does not perform site visits and relies on client-provided dimensions and information.
4) Pricing, Payment, and Revisions
Quotes. Quotes are based on the stated scope, complexity, and requested schedule. Expedited schedules may carry additional fees.
Payment terms. Payment terms are as stated in the quote/invoice. Work may pause if invoices are past due.
Revisions and scope changes. Minor drafting revisions may be included if stated in your quote. Changes to underlying design intent, backgrounds, or added scope are treated as scope changes and may require an updated quote.
5) Intellectual Property
Client-provided materials. You represent you have the right to provide any plans/backgrounds/files you send to T2CAD.
Use of deliverables. Upon full payment, you receive a non-exclusive right to use deliverables for the specific project described in the scope. Reuse for other projects may require written permission.
6) Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
No warranties. Deliverables are provided “as is” without warranties, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Limitation of liability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, T2CAD’s total liability for any claim relating to services/deliverables will not exceed the amount paid to T2CAD for the work giving rise to the claim.
No consequential damages. T2CAD is not liable for indirect or consequential damages (including permit delays/denials, lost profits, or rework by others).
7) Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
